This fully translated edition of 'Ndayanza Lulimi Lwetu' includes a full translation of original text to English. I love our language is a historical narrative written by Simeon Sabwa, first published in 1978. This narrative provides a cultural context to the typical milestones experienced by a person growing up in the Luhya culture. Presented in Luhya and English together, it is a great resource for those learning the Luhya language. By reading the story in both languages, the reader can improve their language skills and build their vocabulary.

Rachel became the interim Chairperson for USFW-Kenya prayer group after a long pause between 1985 and 1990. Rachael was a calm and very welcoming woman.

The initial plans for the formation of USFW entailed having so many committees, Rachael and her husband gave the committee permission to meet in their house. Very few women get encouragement from their husbands in whatever they do especially when it comes to God’s work and Rachael was one of those blessed. Her husband Simeon Sabwa encouraged her and they found favour in the eyes of the Lord. During her tenure in leadership, a trip Triennial was held at Lirhanda Friends Church in 1996 followed by a Triennial in Lugulu at the Girls High School the following year 1997, and friends from the USE were invited to come witness and share with the Kenyan women in their joy. She was a long-serving Treasurer in the East Africa Yearly Meeting.
